The Faculty of Science and Technology of the University of Lille, is taking part in Erasmus Mundus Joint Master Degrees:
- Bioref, specialised in Biorefinery.
The Bioref Master's course focuses on biomass farming, harvesting and transformation process to high added value molecules.
The Master course will provide the highest level of knowledge in these aforementioned fields but also to bioeconomy and environmental and sustainability challenges occuring during biorefinery implementation.
It will allow the students to enter directly to the labour market or follow a career in the research domain starting by a PhD.
The Bioref Master is two-year (120 ECTS) programme, entirely taught in English and jointly operated by four universities: The University of Lille in France, the University of Technology of Troyes in France, Cracow University of Technology in Poland and the Univeristy of Bari Aldo Moro in Italy.
The first call for applications is now open until March the 3rd 2020!
Students with a BSc in chemistry, physical chemistry biochemistry or equivalent from all over the world can apply to benefeciate from an Erasmus Scholarship, which can provide them a financial support including participation costs, travel costs and a monthly allowance.

- PANGEA (PAleoNtology, GEoheritage & Applications).
The PANGEA programme is the first and unique Erasmus Mundus Joint Master Degree in Palaeontology. The educational aim of this programme is to qualify students to a level of excellence in one of the three specialised fields of Earth Sciences: Palaeobiology, Geoconservation and Applied Palaeontology. Our consortium is composed of 4 European institutions: the University of Lille in France, Uppsala University in Sweden, The University of Minho in Portugal and the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens in Greece.
This 2-year study programme spread over the four European universities of our consortium and leading to 120 credit Master’s diplomas was designed to meet the renewed international demand for qualified graduates with dedicated training and experience in fundamental and applied palaeontology.
The first call for applications is now open until February, 29th! Students with an Earth Sciences background from all over the world can apply. The selected scholarship holders will receive a full financial support including participations costs, travel costs and a monthly allowance.
