Summer School on Energy Security (Telč, Czech Republic, August 3-10, 2019)

Telč, Czech Republic invites you to participate in 8th Summer School on Energy Security. The deadline for submitting applications is April 30, applications should be submitted online via http://summer-school.cz/.

The summer school will be held in the UNESCO-listed city of Telc, Czech Republic and will last six full working days. Each day will be dedicated to a specific topic within the issue. 

The core of the program comprises of issue-related lectures and practice-oriented workshop focusing on policy repercussions, energy geopolitics, major energy producers, hydrocarbons development, electricity production and transportation etc. The program also includes field trips to the Temelin Nuclear Power Plant and Korensko Hydro Power Plant.

The summer school will be held on August 3-10, 2019 and will host various foreign and Czech energy security experts. Among the lecturers, there are: James Henderson (Oxford Institute for Energy Studies, UK), Vaclav Bartuska (Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Czech Republic), Predrag Grujicic (Energy Community), Olga Bogdanova (Ministry of Economic Affairs, Latvia), Michael Kranhold (German Transmission System Operator 50Hertz Transmission GmbH), Andras Deak (Hungarian Academy of Sciences) and many others.
